Frequently asked questions

How do weekly payments work?

You can see the total payment commitment on each product page, as well as the weekly payment amount. You will be charged weekly for the total payment amount - the total number of payments will depend how close to the cutoff date you place your order, but the total amount will always be the same for each product.

How is the payment amount calculated?

Weekly payments are calculated depending on the time of year you place your order, to ensure your order is fully paid before the cutoff date. For Christmas 2026 the cutoff date is November 30.

For example, if you place your order before 30 April your order will be spread across 35 weekly payments. For orders placed between April and June, your order total will be spread across 22 weekly payments.

Although your total order amount won't change, the earlier you place your order, the cheaper your weekly payments will be!

What happens if i miss a payment?

If we're unable to process a payment for any reason, we will try again the next day. We will retry to process the payment a maximum of 5 times.

You will be notified of a missed payment and will have the option to reschedule.

If we are still unable to process the payment after 5 consecutive attempts, the plan will default.

If your plan is still in default on the payment cutoff date, your order will be cancelled and any payments to date will be refunded less a $30 processing fee.

How can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order and payment plan at any time by logging into your customer portal. Any payments to date will be refunded less a cancellation fee of 15% of payments made to date - to cover our costs (minimum $30). Cancellations take up to 5 working days to process. Orders cannot be cancelled after the cutoff date of 30 November due to the perishable nature of these products.

When will i get my order?

All orders will be delivered after the payment cutoff date. Christmas orders will be delivered in the third week of December; you will be contacted in early December to confirm your delivery address and preferred delivery date.

We recommend that someone is at home on the day of delivery to put your meat into the freezer.

where do you deliver?

We deliver anywhere in New Zealand urban areas. Unfortunately we're unable to deliver to rural locations or offshore islands.
